Results of Video On Demand and TV Everywhere Survey Released

Sherman Oaks, Calif., May 8, 2013 – Vubiquity, a global provider of multiplatform video services,announced the results of a tracking study measuring consumer behaviors and attitudes toward Video on Demand (VOD) and TV Everywhere (TVE). In the survey, conducted by Frank N. Magid Associates during the fourth quarter of 2012, satisfaction with On Demand grew 5% over 2010.  The biggest areas of improved satisfaction were the quality of programs (+6%), availability of programs in HD (+8%) and the number of choices available (+6%).

However, as a result of the relatively high cost to maintain and launch EO defense satellites and the investment required to fund R&D, only 11 countries have developed EO defense capacity dedicated to supporting IMINT.

18 Million DVB-T2 STBs Expected in 2015 to Help Satisfy Next Digital Transition Milestone

Over 70% of pay-TV subscribers in Western Europe Able to Receive Multiscreen Services

Amsterdam, The Netherlands, April 19, 2013-Parks Associates research finds over 70% of pay-TV subscribers in Western Europe are able to receive a TV Everywhere/multiscreen service. In Eastern Europe, multiscreen availability topped 25% of pay-TV households in early 2013. However, ARPU remains low, pushing many operators to test new business models such as  pricing.
